Disk Care: Drive Space Cleaner App Reviews

NO instructions, just simply click on the home button and press open when prompted … ok, seems simple enough - BUT, it brings you back to the same home screen, and does nothing… Let’s see if they answer the email request for further instructions but for now - this is a total waste of money. I never usually write reviews - but this just irked me so much - especially given its “recommended” status on the app store by itunes …

Great app. It is beautifully designed and you can tell a lot of thought went into the user interaction. It does it’s job really well and it is extremely simple to use.

I am always running out of space on my computer but it allowed me to clear up 7.35GB, I usually am very diligent to manage and maintain my drive but this was extra help with no hassle. Work cleanly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend.

Like the app and it is definitely worth the .99c price tag. One feature I’d like to see is cleaning of browser history. Right now cache is cleaned, but history remains.

Modern interface. Allow you to choose large files too. Cleaned ~5Gb. Well worth a dollar.

i was initially skeptical, but it worked, i only freed up 938.1 mb, unlike some people who had gb’s of stuff cleaned. worth the 99.cent price!

I was a little skeptical. Especially seeing that I already have another disk cleaning app. This app works beautifully though. I cleared out 6GB worth of space in less than 5 minutes. Disk Art is really simple to use and set up also. I highly recommend this app. Well worth the 99 cent price tag. For the same price of a cheap cup of coffee, it found and cleaned out stuff from my computer that I didn’t even know was there!

For the price it does what it says and when it cleaned up 52GB on my drive I was thrilled. Great app and very simple to use. If you have concerns that your HD is filling up or that your system is a bit sluggish, then this puppy is for you. Cleaned my cache, just like that and now my system runs quicker. Great job!! Now if only I could force myself to get rid of the movies…. wow I would have the simplest and quickest method to clean more space. Highly recommended!

I paid a buck for this app and it is a buck I will never see again. Put it on 2 computers with the same results. The app opens, browse to a folder, then nothing, wait, wait, nothing, wait an hour, nothing… What a waste and a terrible app, hope my dollar helps with the code as the shiny part is a waste of time when the app doesn’t work. Disappointed...

Got just over 13 GB back of extra space! Great! Need this for the ipad as Apple keeps auto downloading there new IOS against my wishes and stealing my privately owned limited space!

First of all this app is not intuitive. It start with a Home icon that you have to click to choose a folder. But the only folder it allows to select is the user home folder. So I don’t see the point of selecting other folders if the only selectable folder is the user home one. I have two drives in my Mac and I could only clear data of one of them. After that the process was straightforward and I liked the way it presented Data in my computer. It showed large files on my computer and let me see where to find them. I cleared about 20GB that I was using from movies I had already seen and free iTunes shows that I don’t really wanted to watch. This app is not the ice of the cake but it’s helpful and for the price is not bad.

Love the look of it and how simple it is to use. It explains everything it will be deleting really well. I really need disk space, so I frequently use this app to delete caches and old iPhone updates. First time I paid for an app of this kind, and I promise you it is a milion times better than any free one I have used. Also - no ads! Great app, I really recommend it! Truly worth the price!

This is great App. & liked it a lot, had a small issue since last update but after contacting the App. Team it was corrected within 24 hours & now it’s working great.. It deserves FULL 5 STARS.. THANKS TEAM!!

Application crahses immediately upon initiating a scan 100% of the time. “It’s about time” that It’s About Time Products updated their product for El Capitan, especially given that it is a paid application.

This is a tool I could not live with anymore. I use it regularly at least once a month before doing my system backup with Time Machine, and it frees at minimum 1 to 2 GB of space every time and gets rid of none pertinent files and logs.

I can’t believe this overly priced app has such a good rating. It was completely useless. It only showed me the files I knew about, and did not show me the 60gb of old iphone backups that was killing my hard drive. The free utility “Disk Space" categorized all the files and folders taking space and allows you to access them and delete as you wish. I can’t believe I wasted so much money on this app!!!

Im on the 2012-2013 macbook pro retina and the app opens, however when i click start clean it automatically closes and reinstalling does not fix this isssue. What is wrong with the app?

The latest version just doesn’t work, no interface show up, only the frame.
