New update crashes

The app crashes as soon as I hit “Start"

Simple, Easy, Works!

great app, just got me 200 gb i wasnt aware of

Nothing happens

The app looked good until I had to try it ! I’m still on the home page which says, select home button and press « open » when prompted. That’s what I do but nothing happens after pressing open.

Does not work with Mavericks / Ne fonctionne pas avec Mavericks

Does not work with OSX 10.9.5 on MacBookAir 1,86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Ne fonctionne pas avec OSX 10.9.5 sur MacBookAir 1,86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

Não funciona - It doesn’t work

The app asks for a folder selection when started. Once selected this folder, the app does nothing. It doesn’t work. Besides that, it does not allow for the main drive to be selected. Awful! And the support page is not support, it’s just the app description with a link to the app store.

As small program with great support!

It is a small little program that does what it adverizes. Simply select the homebutton to help the program find the home folder and press open and you are good to go. Select the files you want to delete or leave them grey so they will not be deleted. And despite its small prize it comes with great support.

Small but mighty!

Small App, but works wonders…, its worth bigger than its Taged price..

Crashes with latest Yosemite Update

Used to work fine. Now it crashes with latest Yosemite Update.

love it

Simple, easy, works. Could I do what this app does manually? Sure! But the simple app makes it easyer and so I actually do it. Good app to free space on the hard drive!

totally working

totally working - just saved 30gb of diskspace. easy to use and 100% functioning. 5 stars.

Nice but limited to personal files

Nice attempt at a disk clean-up interface but lack in terms of usefulness: it is limited to personal files found in your $HOME dir. For what it does, it does it well but without any system wide clean-up capabilities, it is a bit of a disapointment.

Excellent

Worth 99 cents for sure. Love the minimal interface. Keep it up!

Meh

Just meh. Don’t know if it’s worth the 99 cents. Took three tries to clear stuff up, and I had to empty out the trash myself... I’ll keep using this app and update this review later.

Nice

i like this app, easy to use..

Set it up Correctly to begin with!

I had it scan a small part of my computer. After you have selected an area, no way to change it!

Just meets its competitors

There are other apps - some free - that quickly evaluate disk usage of caches, app logs, browser data, etc., and let you clear them with a click. I have a couple of them that work as quickly and easily as this one does. In fact maybe better… Disk App keeps reporting 3.2Mb of browser data to free up, but it can’t seem to delete it and produces the same report after a delete and re-scan. Disk App has an attractive and intuitive display, and it more-quickly compiles a list of very large files and sorts them by size to scroll through and delete if desired. However with Disk Diag (also a good display) and Disk Doctor already installed, Disk App hasn’t added a whole lot of capability to management of disk space on my computer, and as others have pointed out it works on only part of the disk. I hope it gets better.

Don’t bother

The concept is good, make disk cleaning simple, easy and fast. Sadly, this app is immature and doesn’t deliver on this simple promise. After reselecting a large file for deletion 3 times and not being successful, I uninstalled this app and used finder to remove it manually from the download folder. Too bad I can’t get my dollar back...

Too simple

Too simple in this context is bad since less files get removed than should be removed.

3.25GB free and no problems!

I was hesitant to get this app due to some negative reviews, but after considering some online reviews and articles from sources I trust I got Disk App. Perhaps it’s the latest version, but I didn’get get any crashes or issues mentioned in other reviews. I was happy to get back 3.25 GB with a single button click on my 240GB SSD. It also has the option to show large files and let me delete them. I will echo what some other reviewers said, that we should be able to select the entire Mac HD for cleaning, for this I am giving the app 4/5 stars until this feature is provided.

Found the iOS Updates

this saved me over 1.3GB, I have only 128GB SSD and had only 2GB and runa virtual drive which leaves me with only 300mb, so with I really needed this extra 1.3GB. Simple to use.
